The band is a side project of the Allman Brothers, and they typically tour during the main band's breaks. Govt Mule concert tickets will re-introduce you to a style of rock and roll not heard since the 1960's, and they are known for their live performances above all else.
Govt Mule was formed in 1994 when a few members of the Allman Brothers band got together with friends during a break in their own touring and began jamming together. Their styles meshed so well that they decided to tour, and they have become a touring band that enjoys an intense cult following along the lines of Phish and the Grateful Dead. If you want to see extemporaneous jams performed in an energetic and engaging manner, this is the band to see.
