Texas Bowl tickets are now available for all you Houston area sports fans, and the lucky fans of the two Division-IA football teams that made it into this premier bowl game. The game will take place at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, and a huge crowd is expected to turn out for the game.
The first Texas Bowl was played in 2006; however, NCAA football tickets to the Houston Bowl, the predecessor to the Texas bowl, have been a part of the sports tickets market since 2000. The Texas Bowl will feature Big 12 and Big East tie-ins. In the 2006 game, Rutgers beat Kansas State 26-10.
The Texas Bowl offers all of the excitement of a college bowl game. The teams have struggled all season long to make it to a Bowl, and now that they're here, they'll want to give the fans that came out to root for them a reason for being there.
