The hardest time to get NCAA basketball tickets to a LaSalle basketball home game must have been in the 1950s. LaSalle won the NCAA Tournament in 1954 and the NIT Tournament in 1952. Three Explorers have been National Player of the Year, and LaSalle has won multiple conference championships.
The LaSalle Explorers have a great history, but they have struggled in the quickly improving Atlantic 10 Conference. Nobody would expect the Explorers to get to the Final Four in the next few years, but a trip to the NCAA Tournament is not out of the question before the end of this decade.
